We've just come home from my second chemotherapy session and to be honest I was feeling physically and mentally stressed.

I was tired but not sleepy, with a sore throat, upset stomach and tingling fingers from the Platinum based drugs I had been drip fed for a couple of hours this morning.

The first thing I did was get the fire going. Then I had a couple of hot Vitamin C drinks, warmed up, switched on the computer, and have since then been laughing my head off watching YouTube videos of Michael Parkinson interviewing Billy Connelly, his wife Pamela Stevenson, David Attenborough, and Tom Cruise.

Laughter is the best medicine. My voice is back, sore throat and upset stomach are gone, and physical and mental stress are rapidly becoming a distant memory.

The oncology department advised me to keep a 'chemotherapy diary'.

I am calling mine...A Journey To I Know Not Where
